RE: From Bitcoin ATMs, to City Roads and Human Lives, Government (violence-based "regulation") Ruins Everything

I don't understand how anyone can endorse theft, murder, and destruction, to be honest. I don't mean this as an attack, but even the welfare systems of the world nation states are theft-based. The funds are not acquired with the consent of the funders, but at gunpoint.

I don't feel to be attacked. Quite the contrary - I appreciate such kind of discussion.

It seems that we have different opinions on this point, which is still ok. Maybe this discussion helps us to understand each other a bit better.

I don't endorse/support theft, murder and destruction at all, but I think that at some point a governmental influence might make sense. I am additionally totally committed to keep those influence at a minimum level, or even to reduce it, BUT sometimes it makes sense. Due to the social system in Austria I have the chance to get education for free (even university) and being protected, when getting unemployed.

Could you please outline this statement a bit, I'm not 100% clear to get the gist of it?

Thanks

Sure. Thanks for your level-headed response. All taxes are ultimately taken under the threat of violence, regardless of what they will be used for. Even if the money is used for a children’s hospital, taking money under threat of violence is always immoral.

Thanks for the clarification.
Yes, the tax collection is not based on a voluntary basis. And yes, I'm also not motivated paying tax (especially when I have to pay twice or three times...example for further income)

We (Central Europe/Austria) have such unique living conditions, which is partially attributed/linked to the collected taxes that enabled infrastructure/social projects to be fulfilled.

However I still understand your point of view and agree that the way taxes are collected is not something we should be proud of and therefore endorse upcoming improvements in this topic. i.e deregulation of state

unfortunately is my vote not that valuable :)
