RE: Veganism And The New Age Movement (Why I am no longer vegan)

in #dtube5 years ago

That's quite true, we are all entitled to our opinions. We are not, however, entitled to presentimg our opinions/beliefs/thoughts as though they were facts. I made it very clear both in the video and my write-up that the entire reason I responded was because you made dozens of factually incorrect statements, without anything to back them up, always preceded by things like "I've now learned," "what new age doctors aren't telling you," etc.

You framed your video as a story about your personal journey on a plant-based diet, but you offered extremely little information about your own experience, and a LOT of completely baseless claims.

If you were being honest, you would have left out all the "plants _____," "vegans _____," and simply said that you were on a plant-based diet, started having brain fog & memory issues, someon on YouTube said that veganism can cause those things, so you gave it up. Or, if you actually had tests run to find out what your body wasn't getting or couldn't absorb, you would have mentioned those things.

Whether intentional or not, you did a bait & switch, advertising one human's story and instead regurgitating a bunch of propaganda talking points.
