I think this platform works really well on a personal level, it’s fascinating to find so much in common with users like yourself here, I totally agree with being yourself here. Especially if you have an established brand, people want to know the story behind it and be inspired by that passion.
Anyway, have an awesome battery recharging break Kevin, looking forward to seeing you come back even better. The undisputed king of charisma deserves a rest!

Because that is what people actually want to see. And it works better here because users reward it. Instead of just being a number clicking on something we are now more powerful with our voting ability. It means so much more on Steemit. Because it has higher value inside it.

Main reason why it works is because there is so much higher value being created and rewards given out. In a way we have always been able to do this but it's been more complicated to exchange value. Now it's super easy and we can give proper rewards for content. And the sum doesn't really matter that much it's more that people feel that they are finally being appreciated by someone.

You're the best, Tim! Thanks for all the support so far.

Good morning Kevin, we are just starting here, but what we saw already the totally different vibe on here, compared to Youtube. We saw and interact with so many great people here already. Really enjoying that and looking forward to this journey on here. But as you said, more personal. It might take time for some to get comfort to this, but we love to know more about people like you. Have a great weekend Kevin. Best wishes from Phuket

No truer words! Seriously appreciate you. 🌻

Thanks, Sarah! You rock!

great tip! i never thought about exposing your name as something that important. even tho i did it on my first introduceyourself i've never done it again because korean names are usually hard to read. anyways thanks to you i put it in my profile just now.
i think being yourself is already a great branding on its own. there's no need to overdo it. the worst is trying to be someone else and trying to market that. i know i've made the mistake plenty of times..

Names are so important! Glad to have helped ya, your videos are doing great lately!

This is great, Kevin! And so true. It really does help to be yourself here!

You're the man. But you already know that 👊

No need to worry. Recharge your batteries and have a lot of fun. We’ll bring you up to date when you’re back. And yes, there is definitely nothing more important than being yourself. You’re only able to use your full potential when being yourself.

YESSS, so true

Thank you for the shoutout @kevinli and the kind words, it means a lot and I totally agree on the fact I feel we have made friends. Recharging your batteries is needed sometimes and take a few days off. No one will knock you for that buddy.

You're welcome. Now go make Dkitchen a real thing.

ahahahah Can you imagine

Completely agree,I only want to follow people that I Like and that have to offer something of value! I was very happy to find your profile because I really love your content and you seem great 😁

Ah thanks, right back at ya! Have a lovely day

Well, I disagree. There are all sorts of legitimate reasons for not turning the camera on yourself. Poor health, disfigurement, extortion or language barriers can all be good reasons to not appear on camera and instead create other content. See you on the next one, have a good one Kevin!

I couldn't agree with you more! Those were my thoughts exactly when I joined, I was trying to think of a witty username like my Instagram but I figured what's a better name then my actual name. I also didn't know what to post about everyone's post seem so well thought out and read almost like a research paper but I knew that wasn't me. So I figured why not just record my life and see how it goes and I'm absolutely happy doing so. So thanks so much for making this video now I know I'm not the only one with this mindset!

Keep it up! You're doing great

The most important thing you own is your name. You are NOTHING without it. That said, it's great that people be themselves. People want to know WHO you are FIRST and what you're selling much later.

I have high hopes for this Platform. Plus for every McDonalds, you gotta have a Burger King

I agree Dtube is what YouTube used to be just making a video is all you need to do.... not corporate stuff... Keep up the good work :D

Your vlogs are so great and real @kevinli, thanks for your great work. Steemit and DTube are really about making real connections and everyone have to know that they can't be greater than being themselves. I also had an issue about that thinking that I had to be special and have amazing skills to be successful here but after my experience and seeing others' posts, realized that all I needed to do was to relax and express myself for the community. Of course, the road can be long but I believe I'll find myself on this journey. Your videos help me very much and I have a question, how can I make as cool snaps for Dtube as you make? Thanks and all the best to you
