I wanted to check out what all the fuss was about, before Dtube is overrun by pirates and other lunatics.
So here's a short film I made, shot in Kashmir. Yes, it's an old video.

What do you think about D-Tube so far? I'm currently a YouTuber, and considering if I should make a switch.
It's still early stages. It's working well enough for now, but no one knows how it'll scale to more traffic.

This is an excellent video. Very good, old video or new.
I tried to upload some video to Dtube the other day without success, but maybe I just didn't try hard enough.
In any event, keep on steeming on. And thanks for sharing this look into Kashmir! Maybe the first and last time my American eyes see such a place!

Seems to be working here. Probably a temporary IPFS hiccup.
It doesn't work in Chrome, but it plays in Mozilla Firefox

Super cool film! I never tried to make videos other then the occasional shot at some festival, let alone a short film. But somehow my interest in trying to create something in video land is starting to itch a bit. DTube can use more original content, so that is an extra driver to really think about creating a film, but it cost time and a lot of effort. Until, then I decided to give DTube some of my shots of artistic festivals I visited this summer.
Sure, start with what you have!
What tools are you using to create the video and put the music on top of it? I'm so much a newbie in this. Any freeware tools that are good enough to start with that also can create good results, ie enough features to be able to create some good video?
Davinci Resolve is available for free. The editing feature set is not the best (but definitely good enough), and the sound and colour grading are world class.

Beautiful video and scenery! The thing that I do not like about D-Tube is that the videos take forever to load and then they still stop here and there making watching difficult. Thank you for sharing and thank you for your upvote on my post. Upvoted and Followed!
That looks like an incredible place to paraglide. Great editing btw! Do you have any more of your work on youtube or something. I had a hard time watching it on D-Tube.

STOPNice video. But this D-tube is hanging sometimes. I have an account also. But It is not preferred to use it right now especially for my personal food blog. What do you think @liberosist?
