Still a little bit sick but I feel much better than last Saturday. Last week I already made a video about the importance of finding your own community and to make it a habit interacting with other people.
In today's video I am talking just a little bit more precisely about how successful interaction actually works.
Two great examples I faced by myself
And it was my comment out of 279 other comments which motivated her to make a video referring to what I've saidSo, it was last week when I was welcoming some of the new people here on this platform like I am doing regularly and I came across the introduction video from @theaudgirl. And when I am welcoming new people I'm always writing something unique that is referring to their videos / posts.. Of course, I got mentioned in her post which gained a lot of attention for me as well. Thanks again for the shout-out @theaudgirl!
Another very similar thing happened when I posted my very critical video about my opinion of posting several videos a day.
video response to my video. Again, a great example that these kinds of interactions with the community can have a huge impact on others which will then come back to you again.
@altcoinpost who also owns the channel @dnews made a
But this will only work if you don't expect anything like this from your posts. And I didn't as well in these two examples. Always be honest and authentic! The reciprocity rule also works this way.
If you are doing something just for the purpose of getting something back you probably will be disappointed.
I'm following both of them now. Not to show myself grateful but because I have realized they are great people making high quality content.
I hope you enjoyed this video. If you did, make sure to upvote and follow. Don't mind to resteem as well and what's most important…
…live your dream!

Brother, from all of your videos...and trust me, you have improved a lot! Like seriously a lot...I guess the reason why you can't see it is because you are not your audience, but trust me when I say you have improved so damn much man!!!! So, I really love this video because you were who you are. You talked the way you would also talk in real life. That is another improvement. If you look at your very first video, you can see that you kind of pretended to be someone else, which is not wrong because when the camera is on sometimes you want to act (like me), but it didn't feel natural on you. However, this video brotherhood, just killed it man!
Anyway, now that I have gotten that out of the way, I want to say that on this platform it's about 2 things: providing value and connections. If you do these two things from your heart then you have already won. Like you have already mention: it's the reciprocity rule. Giving without expectations
Thank you brother for staying true to yourself and to the community :)
Winny out...for now ;)
PS: I'm going to list out all of the things that you have actually improved in:
All of these points within freaking 2 months! 2 months!! 2 DAMN MONTHS MAN!!! And you want to tell me that you are not good and that you haven't improved. Know that you are a fast learner brother. A skill that not everyone has...so be grateful for that. Remember to focus on the things you have and possess rather on the things you don't.
wow @myandnow you are very kind and your comments always add value. Learnt so much and would use your tips to improve my videos
I'm glad that it did @temitopebanks :) How have you been? How's your journey on this platform going?
Winny out...for now ;)
Wow! Winny thank you so much for your kind words. I guess you're right that I don't see this because I'm not part of the audience.
I'm actually focusing now on doing more of these "uncut" videos because I kind of like them as well better. They are so pure, honest and can still be edited in a nice way with b-rolls for example.
And I'm not using scripts anymore. Of course I forget sometimes a few things or have to record some stuff 4 - 5 times but that's worth it.
I'm still looking forward to so many things I want to try but I have to thank you and all people on @dtubedaily as well. Without your feedback, tips, motivation and inspiration I could have never achieved this in such a short time. And of course thanks to all of my followers' upvotes and and the ones from @dtube as well.
This is just the beginning of a long journey for all of us ;)
Yes, uncut are nice brother :) It suits you very well. I always do them on my myndays :)
I actually never use scripts except for my funny skits :) But see, you are also improving in that area...another area that you are getting good at O_o
I am so proud of the group I'm apart of man. @dtubedaily just rocks!! <3
Winny out...for now ;)
Having to follow your journey is refreshing. Thanks..
I‘m happy you enjoy my content. Thanks :)
I guess my introduction wasn't quality.. :( j/k :) Thanks for the thoughts and advice. I think this was very useful information.
Are you kidding Tim?! I just read through it and it’s awesome compared to a lot other ones. These are exactly the introductions I’m looking out for. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to do this every day but I still try to do it regularly.
I also belong to this sort of gamers having a lot of unfinished video games on my shelf but some day, yes some day I will play them all! I hope my PlayStation won’t die until then^^ A belated welcome to this awesome community!
You didn't have to go check it out. I was just messing around with you. But I do thank you for taking a look and the welcome. Here's to the day we get to catch up on those video games. Cheers.
Thank you for this wonderful video and will be in touch with your Vlogs :)One thing I learned from your video is that we all should check the #introduceyourself tag daily, find a quality post and leave a comment there to motivate the author keep working here consistently. This is what I guess most of the people including me don't do but I will make sure to make this a habit!
I'm glad it was helpful for you. I'm sharing all my thoughts and tips like these with the community when they come in my mind because we should all work together and not against each other. At least it's up to the people what they do with these information.
Exactly, that's what all should do here!
Nice work with introducing yourself to the new steemians!
Oh my gosh -- this post just made my day! I appreciated your comment then and still do now -- you are partially responsible for the large discussion that came from my post!! You nailed everything about this video and you are spot on, being authentic and taking the time to be specific about someone's content can go far. And you never know the impact you can make on someone by leaving a kind comment like you did on my intro video. :)
Thankful for our Steemit friendship! haha
Keep posting awesome videos. I enjoy watching them.
Thank you Audrey for your kind words and for encouraging me to keep creating more videos. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Glad you're feeling better :) DTubedaily is such a great community and i've never seen a platform with such great interaction!
That is so true I haven’t either! There was one thing I said over and over again when I was at Winny’s place and that was the sentence “This could be the best time of our lives”.
Yeah, that was yesterday. Today I feel really bad again. Influenza caught me again really hard :(
Damn, sending my best wishes pal. Yes I love that sentence we need to make it the best time of our lives!!
Great points here @liveyourdream. I also prefer to sift through content on steemit and dtube to find posts/videos that are quality and really show that they care about what they are creating. Those are almost always the ones that interact and I've created a lot of great relationships on here that way.
It's awesome to hear about your successes and what you've learned from them. I'm actually trying to watch your video about posting multiple times a day but it's not loading (#dtubeprobz) but I'll have to come back to check it out. It's a really interesting subject and clearly dtube agrees!
Thanks for this great video!
I love your approach to growing on Dtube and Steemit by genuinely interacting with other creators- this is how the community here will be built:)
