This is a terrible piece of journalism. A guy from the streets, who made it the the premiere or the premiere league in football, returns home after retirement from football to help is War ravaged country. Gets beaten out of initial elections by the establishement because he has no education or experience... finishes a university degree to return to win elections against the establishment... and 3/4 of your story is about Charles Taylor whom a campaign appointee worked for. All is not roses, but wow!

weah's last name is pronounced "way-ah". i don't know about the people around him, but being from europe (holland) i remember george weah well from his football playing days and i know he came across very kind and passionate about his home country then. he wanted to make his country better if i ever got the chance, he said. so i give him the benefit of the doubt for now..
