Baldock is a small town in North Hertfordshire and every year for the last 10 years they have held this music festival.
The song choice Some of These Days was well received by the audience. This song has been around for a very ling time indeed and there have been many famous renditions of it by many artists over the decades.
All proceeds from the event went to local charities.
Old time music is still very popular and this song has been around for almost a 100 years.
This song was made famous by many singers over the years including the legendary and outrageous Sophie Tucker and I have linked her version here for you to have a listen to her delivery which is pretty fascinating.

Funnily enough I was just looking at videos people recorded there with an eye to posting some. Can I just ask that you change the wording a bit to something like 'performance by Swing 47 who comprise Danielle on clarinet and Steve on guitar and vocals'. I've been practicing a bit and my fingers are tough again. It didn't take long? which was quite a surprise?
We thought we had a gig tomorrow, but seems it is more of an open mic, so we may not get many songs.
You need those tough fingers. My left hand has built up some strength so that barre chords don't wear me out any more.
