The Okanagan valley has not experienced such a winter with this much snowfall in over 30 years. So needless to say we were more than a little ill prepared, to handle the volume of snow at the high altitude where we live. Rendering our transportation methods virtually useless.
Id say the power of improvising is key to success and even survival of any off-grid/ homesteading outfit. None that I have met have embodied this virtue of flexibility more than @offgridandy. My wise, generous, landlord and Sensei in construction and innovations.
In response to our transportation crisis @offgridandy began experimenting and inventing various types of plow blades, this is a video of me riding one as a weight of sorts on a pass down the mountain.

That was so cool! How much fun was it?? And it looked like the dog was having a blast too!
Such a thrill, probably covered around 6k that trip. Up and down the mountain, more exciting on the way up by far though. I couldn't do no hands going up as easily and yeah the dog is super great having a time! Stay tuned :)
