We are starting to move into an age of abundant information. Where there is just too much stuff to process for a single person. It will be impossible to be able to control the narrative now when there is so many people thinking and people have access to so many services that keeps them open minded.
In this new era we will need to get better filtering methods out. That we will know more about what they do exactly. These big companies right now they control what you see in your feed. Which is very wrong we the users should have more control over that and know exactly what they are doing and what is being hidden away from us.
Information is becoming cheaper for everyday that goes and eventually it will all go down to 0. I think what will be of more value in this new era is trust and reputation. Building an online tribe. In the future we will probably have an AI that will give us information about anything we need to know. So instead of going to humans for that we just use the computer!
This world will even be more interesting when you consider how the government will try to tax this new world when people are building their own universes right inside their home with Virtual Reality glasses. Where they can have experiences only the elite had access to in the past. Money will matter less because experiences will be cheap. Will be interesting to see what humans truly will value the most in an age like this.
Maybe history will repeat itself and that we will build pyramids again that are massive. Clearly we have been super intelligent in the past but then something happened. And we lost a lot of data and information about our ancestors. Information we will probably never be able to recover. I sure do hope it doesn’t happen again!
