Also found discord to be an amazing platform. You need some closed community to be able to make more interesting things happen. Steemit group would work on Facebook if it’s a closed off group with only more serious people. It raises the standard and engagement will instantly increase. Since our attention is highly valuable we should only spend it where we get great returns!
We need more better filtering methods as we move into the future because we have so much information being produced all the time. And it’s impossible to take it all in! Quality over Quantity.
I agree 100%, I in fact that I am part of the Italian group, since before I was with the automatic vote, but now I decided to switch to manual, because not all deserve support, many are just there to receive and not give. So in manual vote I can do more to support people who bring quality! Both from the group and from outside.
Yes! I mean ideally it would work to upvote all and finally they would learn that produce higher quality content actually pays off! But some never learn haha. And then they shouldn't have a reward. The ideal now is that you invest in others that also take the platform serious by investing their time and attention in producing real value.
I have detected the insane value Steemit comes with especially when it comes to the comment section. Just wow! Here you can truly get massive rewards! Even on the bigger blog posts some have just 100 comments so you would be visible pretty quick even there when delivering something of true value.
I noticed that the Italians keeps a bit higher standard which is nice to see. With very engaging comments. Very easy for me to translate them in Google Translate usually comes out close to perfect. An automatic translate button would be nice in Steemit. Focused attention on this service is highly rewarding.
It would be really interesting the automatic translation, I feel good with English but often I have to go to translate, because maybe I find technical terms that I do not know!
