I don't know how it used to be, but I registered 2 days ago, and every day I've been trying to upload music. Without success. I must've left the page loading for 3 hours, and kept on refreshing and trying to upload again and again. Even different files or formats. Sadly, no success

Yes about a week ago IPFS was all shut down and I was given a bunch of steps and websites, upload/download etc...then today from my Galaxy S7 Edge phone. Getting a new laptop I will try it on that next...gotta be compatable so everyone can use it, I'm rootin for ya and I am patient. The minute its easy like soundcloud, I will switch all my music to the platform 💜🌈🎶

I am starting to do some stand-up comedy for dtube....I want to put my jokes on dsound too.....my friend @christianchannel will probably be interested in inserting the bible on dsound...he is already inserting it on dtube with synthetic voice...greetings from other Portuguese here.

nice @prc, i like the initiative for Dsound and have also started using it! I somehow would like to transfer my soundcloud to Dsound but i found that it is also lacking abit of the music community or headz on there. I guess it will take sometime to also spread with the use of steem and steemit, so it goes hand in hand! Good luck with the journey :)

Does anyone know if a dsound player can be integrated on Steemit posts?
I’ll be developing an embeddable player soon, but steemit strict rules for embedded stuff can be difficult to solve... we’ll see then. :)

Question: Lets say i have broadcast file sitting @mega.nz Would it be possible to just paste the link to that file in dsound?
The short answer is no. Sorry, but integration with cloud storage is far away in the roadmap, so it will not be implemented anytime soon... The alternative is to download from cloud and upload to DSound. Thanks a lot for the feedback! :)
BTW privacy badger is blocking api.steemit.com
Would it be possible to fix that?
That is an issue for Privacy Badger itself, not for DSound I think. Maybe you should add some kind of rule to it to allow the connection or something, I don't use it so I don't know how it works...
I mean if privacy badger finds domething that damages my privacy then it would be nice if dsound would do something that prevents the api from affecting people's privacy.

DSound doesn't do anything related to users privacy. That is a false positive error on Privacy Badger software you're using... Maybe because it doesn't know about DSound yet. Please report to them so they can fix it. Thanks! :)
