I love goodwill! It's great that people give away stuf and that you are bringing these books back to their former glory, otherwise, they would just collect dust at some attic. Amazing finds!
I love fi finding old books. Love love old Atlases. My oldest is 1930. Just really cool. Shame books will be obsolete. Its how they will erase history. So, gotta catch em all!!!
I am totally addicted to clothing shopping at thrift stores. I usually don't make it to the other sections though like electronics. Sometimes I will browse the sheets / blankets to find good cotton or wool items.
Oh I find some of my coolest clothes from the thrift shops but as of late, theyve been charging too much. Its like more people started shopping at thirft shops out here. People tend to be shallow here in Vegas. They have new clothes every new season so it's like there's a lot of good stuff in the thrift shops. So now they've gotten all snooty and they're charging more because more people are shopping there; economics. Now the only days you can find a great deal is on Saturday its .99cents but usually its a color system of ugly shit they plan to tag for sale, to get rid of. You can find something nice, here or there but not like you used to. Gotta go into a small town goodwill. Lolololol.
Yes I have noticed some of the stores marking up certain brands up to $20 on jeans or $8 for a t-shirt. They are getting these items from donation anyway, it's not like it's a consignment shop.
