Sleep deprivation:
8 hours - You wouldn't mind taking a nap after a meal.
16 hours - Fatigue starts kicking in.
24 hours - Early stages of sleep deprivation. Cognitive impairment equal to 0.10% alcohol blood levels. Eye-hand coordination affected. Both long term and short term memory impairment.
32 hours - Hormone imbalance - unstable emotions. Functioning on autopilot. Lowered response time.
40 hours - Body begins shutting down. Microsleeps occur. Body starts shutting down for periods of a second to half a minute in attempt to recover. Similar to blackouts.
60+ hours - Hallucinations. Shadowy figures appearing. Microsleep episodes very frequent. Physical health rapidly deteriorating.
And they say sleep is the cousin of death?
