Personally I would prefer if wearing the Hijab was not a chore or duty but something people choose freely to do as a symbol. Marrying orphans was back then considered a Charitable thing as they would starve to death otherwise, and if they are married they would not. I mean 500 years ago Christians had much more nasty punishments and the only difference here is that unlike Christianity, Islam never went through a reformation that pointed out that the preachers sometimes talk bullshit and that you should read it up and reflect on it your self but cannot always trust the preacher. When Germans found out they were lied to by priests they burned a lot of catholic priests and stopped trusting them unless they can verify it in the book, that became easy to obtain with their brand new printing press.
