We're still in a downtrend, although we have not yet reached a new low (the low in July was lower than this one, at least so far) and it's starting to drag me down. Have you considered the long term trend?
Bitcoin has a 4-year cycle because every 4 years the mining reward is reduced.
This leads to a bubble because people are buying coins instead of mining equipment.
When the bubble bursts, Bitcoin drops down to 20% of it's peak value.
This process takes years.
Then in about a year Bitcoin rises massively again reaching a new peak.
The next will be in 2020 when mining rewards will be removed entirely.
Patiance is needed. Slow and steady is the best way forward.
