It's time for another episode of #traveltuesday and this time I want to take a look all the places where you CAN and CAN'T drink the local tap water, something that's very valuable to know before you travel to a new destination! Here is the post I mention in my video with the map: https://bit.ly/2AnNMKS

I just followed you
gahhhh, we made the list hahaha
But yes, you are absolutely right
If I drank my tap water, which most homes have filters, but even without, we'd be okay but I guess it would be different for you :)
You visited Thailand, I'm the neighbour :D
Yes, I visited KL as well and also didn't try the tap water lol Thanks for stopping by :D
Oh nice
Even Malaysians don't drink tap water unless it is boiled but now with all the fancy water filters, and advertisers trying to sell you the "water of life", even that isn't common especially in the city :)
one of our president said tap water in BKK is drinkable though. #ihavenever unless it's boiled LOL
Yea I wouldn't risk it unless it's boiled lol
Oh this is very interesting, thanks for sharing the map!
I had a similar one experience in Thailand, I was very thirsty and thought, what the hell, I will just drink the tap water. It tasted horrible! So next day we went and bought a pack (12 pack I believe) of water bottles. I felt bad because of all the plastic waste though.
Looking at the map, it seems like pretty much everywhere in Europe you can drink tap water. In my experience, you can kind of drink (although nobody does it) tap water in Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic. Then, in Poland and Italy, it's a big no, even when the map says so.
Then you have the other side of the spectrum. In Sweden for instance, tap water is so good that it's really really hard to find natural water (bottled) in stores. You can find some water with gas, but not natural. It just doesn't exist! The same applies for Finland, probably Denmark too.
In Germany, the Netherlands and Austria it's quite good as well.
Thanks again for the map :)

Thanks for stopping by! :)
Yeah drinking water is something that we really should think about every day. Even with stuff like taking showers and pushing the toilet flusher... Something we do everyday wasting so much drinking water where so many people in the world can't even access to this very important need to us to be alive :(
