You've made some valid points. And I guess along with the monetization only applying for 7 days anyway (at least as far as I am aware) for vlogs and some other formats the large community at d.tube actually is advantageous.
Also he specifically mentioned IPFS as the root cause and that he actually considers to come back to d.tube when these issues are fixed.And while I am not speaking on behalf of @semperenglish at all, I think it is fair to point out that a lot of his videos are a series where the later videos build up on previous ones. For this use case the current IPFS situation is just not applicable.
