Residents of Hawaii received frightening messages today, throwing them into a panic. It took an incredibly long time to reverse their statements, further compounding the issue. The question is, was this mismanagement, or was this simply a test?

Was it just a mistake? Or a test? What do you think?
I'd guess a test. A mistake with such an damn important button ?! If it was a mistake, its even more crazy...
Agreed. This is very strange.
I'm from Hawaii, born and raised, I got the notification on my phone that only has text capabilities while I was driving, I flipped a u-turn for home, thinking "this can't be real" I was listening to local radio: no station interrupt, no sirens were going off. I made it home luckily I was only 5 minutes away, and called 911 from my other phone, it took a while but I finally got through. Dispatcher told me right away, "Disregard that, Civil Defense issued a statement that it was just a TEST." 30 minutes later I recieved update on my phone to disregard the first message! Something very fishy. My wife said, "Yeah, they had a false alert in Guam in November, same thing."
Wow.... thats so sick! Try to imagine what you would do, if the gov. says: Hey Ppl, some nukes on their way to HERE ! ETA: 15 min... Panic, suicides and such stuff. Thats crazy ! The world is going nuts more and more each day !
Seriously. This isn't a joke but clearly something is up.
nobody is prepared for such as an attack. everybody will be in a panic mode and don't know what to do. remember, it is a nuclear attack that is coming and this is devastating compared to the atomic bomb that hit hiroshima and nagasaki, japan for that matter.
For sure. It will make such a huge impact but I believe that it would escalate into World War 3 before you even knew what happened.
They have been creating panic and monitoring our responses to fear for decades!
True. Tons of false flags, terror drills. Preparations are being made constantly.
8:00 Yeah that's totally paranoid and probably wrong... but it's a paranoid thought I had too...
I highly doubt any of us are prepared to get hit by a missile. Food, water, gold, bitcoin -- kaboom.
Nobody can ever be prepared enough for that but you definitely don't want to be running and scrambling into the streets with other people panicking. You at least want to be in a secure place with family/friends/etc.
Im firefighter on Oahu and had just gotten off duty when the alert came through on my phone. Scariest 30min of my life. Someone needs to get to the bottom of how this could of happened.
