This is great news, thanks for the info, first I'd heard about it! There is actually a way to use Coinbase already for people in the UK to convert to pounds, with almost ZERO fees! The article mentions it briefly.
It involves the banking app Revolut and GDAX. If anyone reading wants to do this, there are tutorials on YouTube if you search.
It is a pain to set up at first and lots of steps but once you've done it, it gets easier after. I use it and pay literally pennies to buy and sell crypto and convert to pounds and put into my bank account - way cheaper than Uphold, which someone mentioned on this thread :)
