We are living in a bizarro world, where everyone looks at everything as binary until it is relevant to them or their "team", then all the concessions and excuses come in.
There are lots of people who have similar allegations, but can't get an honest job because of societal judgement, but if you are in a big enough seat of power, no one bats an eye if you want a bigger seat.
