Symmetry ! but why ? let's learn!

Let's learn about how to get more creative using "symmetry".

Now you must be like "How the hell does this work?"

Here is an speed paint of my artwork, I am using an app "Artflow" on my tablet, I did this work by turning on the symmetry feature, basically it mirrors everything drawn on one side to the other side.

Before we understand how symmetry helps us, let's revise a basic fact of art, "Every artwork is a collection of different shapes, combined together in a unique manner" Not only art, but everything in universe is a collective shape, humans have lot's of shapes, combined together, we are a unique piece of art ourself!!!

Now that you know the basic, when you randomly draw lines using a symmetry tool, your mind will start looking up fo "shapes" and will try to create something that will make sense, so practicing with symmetry helps creativity flourish, because we get ideas from shapes. You can clearly see how my random lines turned into a skull like figure!
