Self driving cars will wreck the economy. Once they become more prevalent in society insurance companies will charge so much for drivers driving non self driving cars off of the road. Not to mention government spying, corporations selling your data, and hackers.

there is no question that self driving cars will destroy jobs, but this is the argument people made in the early 20th century to prevent cars from being created -- they'd put the horse buggy drivers out of business. that has never been a successful way to prevent technological advancement.
