About the threats.
The person in your scenario was unaware? So technically the word threat does not, in his unawareness, exist/apply. (for something to be a thread you must be aware i think)
Would an onlooker with a gun, who might have shot you, be guilty of murdering you if he did not ask about the situation?
Would he be guilty of murdering you if he asked about the situation and the person , you point your gun at, becomes aware of what you are doing and does not consent, wants you to stop, which you don't do? (so he shoots you because you continue to threaten against the non consenting person)
Do You think if the person would be conscious (was looking at you for instance) he would have wanted/needed
to give his consent, to that joke, what could be a potentially an danger to his life liberty and freedom?
Let's make it different
There lives a person, lets call him Truman, and all his life a sniper in the bushes etc point a loaded gun at him. He is unaware all his life.
Is Truman threatened by the sniper? (I'd say no)
Now Truman finds out that sniper he walks up to him and asks the sniper (who holds the gun pointed at him) what he is doing. And the sniper say's; I'm making a lifelong joke or a work of ar,t by pointing every minute of you life a gun at you.
If Truman said; I don't consent to you pointing a gun at me (unless I break the NAP ;) If the sniper continues, would Truman have the right to defend his body/life/freedom?
Let's make it different; you, all the days of you life, you are pointed a gun at by someone, where you see the red laser dot on yourself, or a loved one. (so you are conscious of it)
Could you say; i do not consent to that, and if you don't lower the gun and go away, I'll defend myself or my loved one?
Would you be justified to act in self-defense if the person continues, against your consent?
What if I was the target and you saw me say, to the sniper; I do not consent to you threatening me? Would you be justified (as a person or as dro) if I walked from the "scene" to stop the sniper with (force/defensive violence) as he started to follow me around with his gun pointed at me?
Would you be justified to go and stand in between of us? To stop the sniper?
How about if a to be rapist would point a gun at you, and ask you nicely gag yourself, to take of your clothes, and to turn around?
And he later said it was a joke?
At what point would you be justified to use force/defensive violence in self-defense?
Would there be justified way to get rid of funny stalkers, joking psychopaths, stalking slave master clowns, protecting cops, 10;05min.
I would love to see you discuss this "threats" subject with Larken.
Stefan Molyneux (in his early day ) makes a distinction between a threats consisting of words, and threats with weapons....I believe (not sure). If i remember which video it was, I'll leave it in another reply.
Peace.
