Someone said that dtube takes 25% of your rewards, so you shouldn't post on there. Is that true?
D.Tube takes 25% of your Steem Power earnings, which is really not much at all considering that the SP earnings are based on the current value of Steem.
If you made $100 on a post then you would get about $75 for authoring and the other $25 would go to the curators. Then out of that $75, you would get 50% of that in SBD (37.5 SBD) and 50% in SP based on the value of Steem (7.5 if Steem is worth $5).
So Dtube will take 25% of that 7.5 SP you collected, which would be 1.875 Steem.
Also, is it harder to get visibility with dtube?
My first thought is that if you just started posting videos and your audience isn't used to videos, then you likely won't get the engagement you expect right away. That's usually a common thing in social media. Once you start posting videos more frequently you'll gain followers who are expecting video from you more often.
I would definitely recommend following the guidelines I suggested in the video for tagging.

Thanks!! I really appreciate your response. That makes sense that maybe they need to get used to it... Because even though I thought my video was one of the best posts I've done so far, it was basically crickets... which is duper weird.
Also I think from the steemit version, you can't even tell that there is a video to click on. I don't know how to make that obvious.

That's why I always include a play icon on my thumbnail so that it's more obvious.
Or you can just say, "click the video below". That also works.
