Interesting article. However, one thing that does not get talked about enough here in the United States of America is "Asperger's by proxy," which is a subset of Munchausen's syndrome by proxy. Our nation has a major problem with too many parents seeking a misdiagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome for their child so that they can illegally access Federal programs or use it to cover up abuse that they have inflicted upon that same child. When I have Googled Asperger's by proxy, not too many search results come up; but it is quite real.
