What's up Dtube, my name is Harshil Patel and today, I'm dropping another short story.
Today's story is about creating a podcast to challenge the way I think about storytelling. For the past 11 months, I've been so focused on video that I haven't focused on other types of content creating.
My theory is this:
There's podcasts, there's photography, there's drawing, there's SO MANY WAYS TO CREATE CONTENT. And My Mission is to explore every type of creating to help me boost my main passion for video.

Great piece of content, thanks for sharing. your breakdown on skill sets is very true. I have found this myself lately as I edit videos and photos but I enjoy the edit (for now lol) but I could see that changing as it becomes a job instead of a passion. I definitely need to work on my speaking skills and also grammar lol

I think sometimes it is good to diversify. It helps bring out the creativity in us and also helps in killing monotony.

I also am exploring the different ways to create content and I am also not sure if focusing on one is better or using a few - would that make my feed too messy and not consistent?

Wow man this is a wonderful idea man, I'm going to practice podcasts myself since my major problem is that sometimes i actually talk too fast because i feel like if i'll talk slow i'll be less interesting..

I totally agree that you can use different avenues and explore different skills - in the past week I lost my voice and would cough each time I talked too long, so I wasn't able to use my voice as much - I then experimented with other skills such as editing and putting up content like photography and blogging.
I agree also that these platforms enable us to practice and refine our skills so we can use them for other things in life.
Editing is definitely a pain for me. However when it's fun I enjoy it - eg the special effects I can do with video editing - those are fun :)
