This challenge is designed to help improve the relationship between the part of you that records your videos and the part of you that edits them. The challenge is simple. Get yourself into the flow state (where you're feeling good and have something you can't wait to share) then press record, share your message, and stop recording.
If you know you're not going to have the ability to edit later, you challenge yourself to make the most of each moment while you're recording. And the more you make of your moment, the more compelling you are to watch on screen.
I came up with this idea because I noticed I was getting bogged down by perfectionism and editing my projects to the point where it felt like my editing self was trying to erase any mistakes my recording self made. It started taking way too long, and sapping the fun out of my creative process. I'm hoping little exercises like this will help us learn to tap into that spontaneous perfection that we only experience when we're fully in the moment. And by learning to draw that spontaneous perfection out of ourselves when we're recording, we won't need to spend so much time in the editing room trying to make up for it.

I literally was going to film this EXACT challenge about a week ago but forgot to do it. I'm glad you picked up the vibe and took it places! I'm gonna try this one tomorrow!
Soooo looking forward to seeing this!
Hey like my video
PS nice
Hi @joshbillings awesome challenge! I have been taking part on it for the past 5 days, when I decided to join DTube Daily, but since my computing power is really not powerful, then I had to upload the videos unedited. They are of my live electronic music jams though, no talking... you can actually see me pressing record and then doing it again at the end. :)
Hopefully there's a way to let the @DTubeDaily family know they just got a new member?, if you have any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them!
Wish you a successful day!
Cheers
