Awesome vlog! The music was rockin' in this one. LOL at the Aussie at the end. Take care, Phil
Thanks Kevin!! My Aussie accent is shit, i need to work on it :-)
OH MY GOD! The buttery smoothness. It's so beautiful Phil. I AM SPEECHLESS. WOW WOW WOW. You should be very proud of yourself ma man. I am.
thanks Ozzie. I love it, such a cool product.
What phone are you shooting with Phil? My iPhone 8 Plus is a little on the heavy side for the Osmo Mobile 2. And the big screw that holds the movey bit to balance it got stuck so I've had to return mine to DJI. I'm kinda miffed about that.
I chuckled when I saw you move the phone the other way than what you intended with the joystick - I do that all the freaking time! It's difficult to get your head around, like flight simulators - up is down and down is up, ha ha.
Nice Aussie accent by the way!
Im using the Samsung s7. I think your one if bigger. Yea thats shit about the screw on the back, they are fragile things.
Yea im used to the joy stick on the ps4 and the one on the osmo is back to front haha.
A lesson I learned from shooting this sequence, I can shoot at 60fps and then slow it down to 30%, I think 50% slowed down is fine but at the beginning there is a bit of distortion.
The iphone 8 does 120 fps i think?
I don't even know what the iPhone 8 does - I've never shot slow mo. I have done fast mo though. I'll need to experiment with that. Your skills are coming on in leaps and bounds man - even your thumbnail looks amazing. I'm coming to the conclusion that I don't have time to figure out super B roll edits and all that - I need to be concentrating on my music and figuring out how to make my video content point towards that. Time man, it's all time isn't it. I see you with your two beautiful girls and see that you're really hustling - that encourages me to keep hustling too.
Thanks Cams thats so nice of you to say! Yea I have been hustling but had a little burn out last week and didnt get much out. I needed a break from getting up at 4.30am to edit :-)
Im glad you noticed the thumbnail, i did put more work into that one.
Yea, your music is amazing and no doubt you will have a serious following once the consumers get over here!! I love watching you on dlive, every time i watch you it makes me what to take out my guitar again.
Nice man! Those gimbals are really cool and good at smoothing everything out!
Thanks captain, yea I was amazed at how smooth it is. Cant wait to improve along with this :-)
Good job on the cinematic shots. Your little girls face when you handed her the cone was priceless.
Thanks Tim.
Yea, I love that shot, she was amazed that I allowed her have such a huge ice cream hahahaha. Little cutie!
