Welcome to Norwich! 'A Fine City' as the locals know it! Pronounced 'Nor-itch' by English folk.
I was challenged by my good friend @kevinli to show my city in all of it's glory after he and @neeqi met up in beautiful Melbourne last week.
Although the weather wasn't pretty, which is all too common here in the UK, I think I managed to cover some of the big places of the city in today's vlog!
Special thanks to the awesome @slayerkm for tagging along for the day and being the first Steemit user and Dtube pro that I've ever met in the real world. We had a great time and drank an insane amount of coffee. Sightseeing is so much more interesting when you're buzzing on copious amounts of caffeine!
Needless to say, this isn't the last you'll see of my local city, I'll be doing much more content here as I get more time off and the weather eventually improves. Also, this is my first time properly vlogging in public so I have much to learn in audio control and video work, but we all have to start somewhere and I couldn't be more encouraged by the ever growing and learning Dtube community here that supports me. I'm learning more and more each time I press record!
Anyway guys and gals, I hope you've enjoyed the first look into my city and my meet-up with @slayerkm as part of a collection of #dtubedaily meet-ups that are happening right now. This isn't the last you'll see of us, or my local area.

Nice! I didn't realise there was someone else from Norwich here on Steemit. I got food from the Vegan Diner on the market a couple of hours ago, you should give it a try. If I knew you were making this I could have helped you get some cool drone footage for it.
I didn’t realise that either! But it’s great knowing we aren’t the only ones. I’ll have to check it out, I’ve never actually eaten from the market before so I might have a wander next time I’m there. I’d be more than happy to meet up sometime if you’d like to work on something, this is just the first time I’ve done something like this so there is plenty to work on in the future. Yeh definitely, if you have any ideas for videos or something to work on let me know. We could at least arrange a little Norwich meet up with @slayerkm and anyone else on here from the local area.
I'd also recommend a place called Indian Feast on the market. It's quite near the Vegan Diner and you can get a curry, two samosas and a drink for a fiver and best of all it's really tasty, also the bloke who owns it is really friendly.
I'm down to have a little meet up, I only know of the three of us in the Norwich area but I'm always up for a chat and meet up. I like the sound of the fiver curry!!!!

That cathedral is magnificent. I've been to quite a number of them - Canterbury, Salisbury, York Minster.. but I've never been to Norwich. I drove past the outside of it once on the way to Lowestoft a while back.
Nice I should take the challenge as well but here in London to be honest I don't even know where I can start LOLOLOL :D

Norwich must be a pretty big city if you have such large malls but when I look at both of your recordings from outside it actually looks like a small village...
Looks like such a cosy city! Too bad the weather was so bad. Is it a normal amount of humidity there? I hope not! :D The church was gorgeous! No wonder it was so packed! :D
I don't think I've ever actually been to Norwich, although we're talking at a conference that is being held at 'West Lexham' which is pretty close right? Anywhere near the coast can't be bad!
