Yes, indeed it is. I calculated both expenditure for dining in (Cook at home) and dining out, it will be a couple of hundreds different. Huge saving. So we save in order to have extra for celebration like birthday dining out. So that family can have something different instead of my too-healthy cooking. Haha.
Street food in Thai is affordable too. I went to Patong for honeymoon and super love Thailand. I will go again for second honeymoon when my kids are all married. Lol...

Sadly, it's much cheaper to eat outdoors here and thus I'm like 10kg more than when I came two years ago. You don't know what goes into the food and the way it's prepared is usually unhealthy - deep fried. Once back in England, I'll be cooking for myself and will definitely be watching what I eat.
