It was a really long ride. My lower back held up though, so that's good. The mods can affect the fuel economy. I'd like to get an improvement, and might if I didn't have to rip apart the carb to get to the air fuel mixture. It's honestly running great with the current setup. However, if I have to remove and open up the carb, I'm adding the bigger jet for improved performance. I'll get a little more out of the top end and I'll probably lose a couple miles per gallon. The air fuel mixture screw is blocked from the factory so you have to do a little engineering to get to it.
