If you paid any attention to my quarterly updates during Game 6, you would've seen that I was extremely down on the Sixers during the first half. Admittedly, they stunk and they really had no right being in that game. That being said, they pulled it together in the second half and grinded out a great win. They need to bring that winning energy out tonight for Game 7. There is no margin for error any more.
I've seen a lot of people online saying how the Bucks stink and how if the Sixers win Game 7 it's basically a stroll in the park to the finals. I definitely do not agree with this. The Hawks are a good team that just pushed us to 7 games and I for sure believe the Bucks are better than the Hawks. Not only that, but the Bucks beat the Sixers in all three matchups this year. Granted, two games were Embiid-less, but still to lose three games to one team and expect to sweep them in the playoffs is wishful thinking.
Looking forward to the game tonight. I think the Sixers jump out to an early lead and hold the Hawks all the way to the final buzzer. The key to tonight's game for me is Tyrese Maxey. I absolutely loved the way he played in Game 6 and the spark he gave the Sixers. I think if he has a similar game tonight with Ben Simmons playing less minutes in maybe a PF sort of role where he can work in the paint alongside Joel, we win this game. Comment below who you think the key to tonight's game is!
Maxey or Shake will need a good night handling the ball a bit. Have to cut down on turnovers and work the ball around the outside well to have a chance.
