Stake your DVS, that stake will build up a vote balance. Your account will be added to the hourly scan and when you post, 40% of your vote balance will automatically be spent on an upvote.

Ah you can't yet, it's something that needs to be addressed. You can only see an upvote once it's been applied atm, and that will happen once you have enough for an upvote (worth about 0.065 HBD)
