The mic satellite, sent by AÇIN, managed to photograph the world after 20 days of travel. Micro satellites will continue to study space with new missions.
Micro satellite: Longjiang-2
The micro-satellite Longjiang-2, which aims to reach China's Queqiao, began to take photos of the earth and the moon's surface without losing time. With this task, great photos appeared.
The project, previously described as two Longjiang-1 and Longjiang-2 satellites, was being prepared for a more comprehensive mission. However, due to problems in Longjiang-1, this satellite could not leave the world orbit. For this reason, it was decided to carry out the dual task in cooperation with Queqiao and Longjiang-2.
In the above photo taken by Longjiang-2, we see how our world is. In the photograph below, a section belonging to the lunar surface is seen.
Longjiang-2 is now preparing to do much more, sending great pictures to the world. Satellite, low frequency radio astronomy and amateur radio experiments. The next step will be to test the 4-meter parabolic antenna of Queqiao. Relay compliance is expected to carry out data transfer tasks at a distance of about 500,000 km from Earth.
This satellite work reinforces China's space race. In general, the participation of China in the space research work done by USA and Russia accelerates the competition between countries.
hi @sembolbu nice post
I recently got Steve, together with you I decided that we can achieve a lot and develop rapidly. Let's increase steemit strength together. I follow you follow and you enjoy new acquaintances following me! ;) I will upvote you, you give me upvote plz
Just to clarify - a micro satellite is slightly larger and heavier than a nanosatellite that is commonly used in student projects. While nanosatellites weigh from 1 to 10 kg, a micro satellite weighs from 10 to 100 kg. Being that large, it can host more sophisticated space experiments that simply require more space but also there is plenty of room for numerous smaller sub-systems that can do other things. So generally even a small satellite is filled with lots of systems for carrying out experiments in space and they are often funded from several different projects.
