I have experienced many forms of holistic healing and still feel that drumming in social environments, such as public drum circles, has a profound and positive affect. Anyone, whether actively drumming or not, can benefit from experiencing the rhythms. This is due to the fact that the subconscious picks up on the patterns. It is a re-connective tool that mends light strands as well as DNA strands of the body.
The rhythmic patterns open up ancient channels of energy that allow "The Helpers" through. These helpers then are allowed through to the energy body and can then go to work. ~Four Eagles

I have experienced that healing, many times. I used to play djembe, bata, bongoes, on improvisation groups!
Nice one. I just posted about a drumming circle we have here in South Africa in the City I live in.
