Easter Bankruptcies Ahead

My Easter plans are now canceled!

I wrote in an earlier post about the uncertainty of travel this year. Well, that uncertainty has been removed. The country I was supposed to travel to this Easter has now closed it's borders to the world. That's no travel into or outside the country, by everyday people. I'm sure some cleared folk are still allowed in and out. Government officials and probably members of the military.

I also had family planning on visiting from distant lands. They have also cancelled. Thankfully I was able to advise them not to cancel by themselves, and let the airlines cancel so that they can easily get their refunds.

I'm now convinced we're heading for a terrible recession!

Imagine how much money the airlines are losing right now. There will be bankruptcies. Oh there will be bankruptcies! Many of these airlines were already running on fumes. This will be the straw that breaks the camel's back for many of them.

Easter is a major retail event. Hundreds of millions of chocolates are normally sold, along with other festive paraphernalia . As far as I'm concerned, Easter is canceled for this year. There will be bankruptcies!

Hold tight people.
