The good news is that this time around cell phone photos are allowed and I think it is pretty cool that a lot more people who don't own DSLR's can enter the contest and share their shots, heck yeah! Here is my entry for the EasyDex photo contest that is run by @boyerobert. The topic is a random object in your house, so if you're feeling like it, go ahead and check out his blog and participate.
Just an old man chilling on the window sill, he's covered by the spider web, but he doesn't care one bit. He likes spiders, at least all them flies and mosquitoes cannot get to him, it makes him happy.
I was thinking of what I should take a picture of to share with y'all, but I honestly have not been feeling it in me lately to actually go ahead and set up a scene, so I decided to use one of the photos I took last summer in Eastern Kentucky.
Most definitely you can consider it my house since I spent there a long time and I frequent it every now and then :D.
Now, as far as camera settings go, I didn't save the orginal RAW file, but it was taken with a Canon 5D Mark III and a Canon EF 24–105mm lens.
Not being pestered by flies and mosquitoes is the positive side of being wrapped in a spiders web.😁
For sure, my friend! I hate both of them passionately!
Me too!
A Man chilling on the web using Windows.
Yeah, he's using Windows 95.
Good old Windows 95 times. Minesweeper allnighter was the best.
I like this that allows cell phone photos I think I can join the contest right now I'll be and see what it's about
Interesting picture that man is very relaxed there in that window hahaha
Good picture and you're right if you do not have animosity maybe not a good picture is this is great
How do you feel?
I am feeling way better now, I got sunburned over the weekend and my back was on fire for days hahaha what about you?Thank you @yesslife :)
Love this photo. The spider web totally makes it. It would be a totally different photograph without it and a less interesting one IMHO. Nice work!
Thank you. I think this was one of the reasons I decided to take a photo of it, old, rustic, abandoned and rediscovered haha
Отличное фото!
forgotten memories ... just like they were never exist
words came to my mind while watching this photo ,
but what you wrote about mosquitoes made me smile
Thank you lady :)
Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny too hahaha
This is a very beautiful photo. Good luck with the competition
Thanks a ton @anna-mi, I'm gonna need it :D
@kotturinn, Oh! I like this layer of cobwebs. Apparently this an old man so long was on this place, that all his forgotten or this statuette has become someone unnecessary. Well, in any case it is better to hide behind this web than to sit and fight off annoying flies and evil mosquitoes, heh. Great shot! Great job for the competition. I wish you luck!
I'm glad you liked the picture :)Thank you @madlenfox! Hopefully not only I win, I get the 1st prize too, I am all about winning hahaha.
Its like he fell asleep and became cover with webs...Nice.
Ha! Nice one. I love details from houses a lot. I've made tons of pictures of shadows in my home :-) I've photographer an old farm from friends of mine. Lots of spider webs there as well :D
Sounds awesome! I don't think I've photographed shadows before, not by themselves.
Speaking of webs, perhaps I should try to take pictures of those more once I encounter them!
