I'm also happy that we had a chance to meet in Split. Unfortunately, I didn't feel well the last day of HiveFest (boat trip day). On top of it, the forecast wasn't very promising (rain, wind) and combined with my very possible seasickness (although I bought some pills), I decided not to go and told my daughter, "Let's go home!" So, we packed and drove back to Zagreb.
Now, turning back, I know it was a good decision as the following day I lay down in bed with high temperature where I stood for a whole week until today. I'm still not without the temperature but at least, today it dropped to bordering line of 37Β°C (98.6Β°F).
That's the reason why I didn't have a chance to say a more proper goodbye to you, as well as to others. But today, I know if I didn't drive back home that Sunday, I wouldn't be able to do it the following day.
If not earlier, I hope we'll have a chance to meet again on the following HiveFest (if it's not going to be too far and too expensive for me).
Apart from that, if and when you decide to visit and explore Croatia more, please don't hesitate to let me know, and I'm sure we will figure out something. π
And last but not least, I'm curious to hear the end of your grandfather's story and his reasons why he decided (or maybe even was forced) to sell his business.
