Oh man, fireworks are more of a summer thing here. I used to be able to get them from my brother in law because he worked at a fireworks factory, but after he had one explode in his hand he quit. I try to avoid them these days.

Oh sorry what was happen what you brother 😢😢 I hope you still can enjoy them.

Yeah, we still go to the shows every now and then. He ended up being okay, but it was a really scary time for us!

WHat did he do ? ... or it was happen in work time ? It is usually a very rare occurrence for fireworks to explode in your hand, as 99% of them do not need to be held what hand, I just ask ... not get mad .

It's no problem. They were in one of the warehouses and they were moving "dud" shells from one area to another area. There was a pile of shells that were supposed to be duds, but the one he had still had an ematch in it that someone left there. It caught and he turned his body to keep the shell from igniting any of the other shells, but it blew up in his hands. He had to have surgery on his fingers and he had bad burns on his torso. His shorts melted to his legs. He kept the whole warehouse from going up though. I have photos, but they are pretty gruesome, so I won't share them here.

OK..ok ... It was a work accident, I hope the owner of the warehouse paid a decent bonus so that the business could survive, it's a rare thing when the remaining things didn't burn down, he had a quick reaction.

YEs this kind photos can be hard to look, even when we are old, it is still hard to look.

Yes, it was a major distributor in the area. He is still close with the owner and think we was definitely well compensated.
