Hello Aseaners🤗
Let me introduce myself first, I am cicisaja from Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. Now I live in Pamulang, South Tangerang, a neighborhood nearby Jakarta. I've been here on hive for 7+ years with 3-4 years inactivity. Oh, I'm 50 yo🧕. I just made a comeback a month ago and I found this community 2 weeks ago😁. I hope I can add more colors to this community 🫰

I dunno about other people outside ASEAN enjoying their childhood at their hometown. But I think we shared a common culture, especially for the village boys and girls 😁. When we're playing with our brothers, sisters, neighbors, neighborhood friends, school friends or any friends in the wood, on the street, near the river banks, on the beach.. wherever. Since trees are abundance, especially which were plant for street shades or greening or wild one. There's no way we will let its mature fruits unpicked, right?

Who has never seen this tree? Then minds if ask you, are you really living in ASEAN? 🤭 Alright, some of you probably a city boys or girls where this shrub is unwanted. This tree/shrub is called Kersen or Siri/Ceri in Bahasa Indonesia. Some people will call it Singapore Cherry🤭 Panama Berry, whatever you call it, you should know that it's not extinct.

Last week, when my hubby and I were having our morning walk, we passed a street which has a deep cemented river stream also a functional drainage. The trees are growing higher from the other side of the stream where we stand. We'll fall to the stream if we take a wrong step🫣

It's a wild tree at the side of the street, it belongs to the world, so I picked the fruits😁 it tastes so sweet❤️ alright, free things sometimes taste better than what I grow it myself 😜.
Around my neighborhood, there are a lot of fruits trees planted as greening or shades along the street. Children will pick it up sometime and I did the same when I encountered any🤭. Mango, Rambutan, Watery rose apple, Longan, Matoa, etc as long as it grows on public facilities, you can have it. But, better to ask the people around for a permission too.
But, sometimes all you have to do is take a picture. Why?
