Summer has started pleasantly here and I made a meal so it would be pleasant to sit in the garden and enjoy a meal. It's not something very big but simple light home meal that any one can make. I tried to take pictures of everything I did, usually I forget to take all the pictures while I was cooking because I'm doing several things at once.
I hope this small meal is pleasant and makes you want make something also in home and sit in garden.
The first thing I picked from the garden a couple of fresh things to use.
Here are the ingredients for buckwheat making and cutlets I found in the fridge.
buckwheat
minced meat
cutlets
dill
chives
salt
pepper
buckwheat for boiling water
Boil the buckwheat in water, but make sure you wash the buckwheat a little with light cold water before you use it, it takes 20 or 30 mint... to boil buckwheat.
Fry the minced meat with dill and salt until brown ( you can also add garlic or onions, I did not have onions at the moment )
when the buckwheat is cooked ( and the excess water in there... if you cook well then the water won't stay there until the end) then add the minced meat to it and mix it together, add salt if needed .
For the salad
cucumber
radish
One Apple
one large bunch of chives
one big bunch of dill
salt
pepper
sour cream
a little mayonnaise
These fresh things chop and put everything in one bowl, put in the sour cream and a little mayonnaise and mix, also add a little salt and pepper.
Here's a small light meal that I made it's not much, but it's a pleasure to eat it is fast and good.

i also use buckwheat in my everyday kitchen, just stopped eating meat 6 or 7 years ago so buckwheat is a great source of high-quality proteins for me together with Tofu, peas, and different sorts of lentils.

Things are don't stay the same instead of using meat. But it's my personal opinion, I don't push anyone. And actually, there is a big difference to have animals in the garden and eat them or to by cutlets in the local super and pretending that they were grown like potato or apples on trees:-))))))
