So I shared, this morning, what I thought was a pretty harmless quote, on Facebook:
You are personally responsible
for becoming more ethical
than the society you grew up in.
—Eliezer Yudkowsk
To accompany it, I included this image by a provocative, Polish political artist (who has a page on Facebook):

That’s when I got my wrist slapped by FB. Sharing this news with friends, I was told they’ve gotten a slew of these and disputed them all.
Yet, I was not given the option to dispute:
Frustrating dealing with censorship/ algorithms and technology that is ill-mastered/ illogical (if that’s the case).
Bizarre, amoral social media (so, as not to say immoral).
I’ve similar experience reporting a stalker/harassment which occurred repeatedly & I was told it was ok, too 🤷🏻♂️
The irony is that when others I know reported disturbing images — say, glorifying Hitler - they were told that it didn't violate Facebook’s "community standards."
I encouraged ethical behavior? Clearly offensive!
Sigh
In an age of universal deception, speaking the truth is a revolutionary act.

Grateful for Hive
So crazy. Have you heard about voice yet? By the creator of steem/hive. Opening up to more people from August 15. Not to say as I love hive too, but it is an option, especially for a writer like yourself.

Many thanks,MJ. First I hear of this; will investigate. Hope this finds you well, friend ✌🏼
