This is the final result of taking 67 shots, one every 2 minutes at 1/4000th of a second, iso 100 and f32 (through a cheap pair of sunglasses). I debated if I should post this or not, I feel I want to redo it as a full HD video since the gif came out with reduced color and resolution (and my gif software sucks)
But hey, I think it still looks pretty cool anyways so here it is.
Great gif! Really liked it. Didn't have the proper eye protection so never looked up to see it. I can say I was outside and it was hot as hell in the Caribbean. I am having enough eye problems which is why I couldn't take the risk.
Just a tip for the next one you can use a sheet of X-ray and it protect your eyes just fine. most doctors can cut off a little strip from the bottom if you ask nicely.
Now that's very interesting. Thank you!
Nice job, pity about the colour banding in the Gif. Would love to see it in all it's HD glory.

This is awesome I don't even know how to create GIF so I think it looks great you captured the eclipse great I watched if with telescopes and X-ray sheets at Broward College here in Florida what a cool experience it was. What area did you capture these images from?
