The Eclipse

The NEWS is sell sell sell Bull%$#!
You DO NOT need a cheap pair of Eclipse glasses to safely view the EVENT.
And it is not a once in a hundred years event. The path it is on is abnormal because the planet has tilted, putting the path in the central horizontal states, but I have seen 3 of these events in my lifetime, and you simply pop a hole in a shoe box. Yes there are LUNAR and then PLANETARY eclipses, but the end result is generally the same.
The World is full of scams, and the news is in on it until someone catches them...

You can do this in any manor of ways, with the BOX concept. It does not have to be a shoe box, it is just the easiest to handle and position. Just like glasses, only one person can view at a time, but if you try and share the event will be over, So be sure all have their own viewing devices. You can also turn off the flash on your phone, and record it on the ground under any object that lets through natural light, like tree's. You will see, and with your naked eye, the crescent shapes appearing like fairy magic on the ground around the base of the tree.

Enjoy, and do not look at the Sun directly.

Yes these are pretty common events not the once in a lifetime the Media is spinning. The next one to occur in the USA is April 20, 2023. This will also be the Third Solar Eclipse Ive seen, and Ive seen nine Lunar Eclipse's.

For me it is not a usual event..thanks for the post.. I did get some glasses and love all things that go on in the solar system..unfortunately we may have clouds or rain... my husband and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary this same week.. many will gather to watch this 2 minute event and during it we plan to play Pink Floyd's Dark Side of Moon..great fun :)
