I agree with you about the economy. It is an always changing system with so many moving parts a person could maybe manipulate one part if they were a billionaire, but for most people they have to just treat it like a wave and ride with it. Of course supply has to meet demand to make a good profit because if you have to many you spent too much and have an excess of product and you make too little, and you don't reach your potential. This is the landscape for the entrepreneur, operating in that little grey area of uncertainty following a hunch that they are onto something when everyone else is generally not supporting especially at the start.
Quote"People’s dreams, fantasies, and imaginations only have economic relevance if they are acted upon. After all, if you have a dream that you do not act on, you are not making it happen. It remains but a dream. The dream itself makes no difference in the world;
merely wishing does not make it real." (Bylund, 2022, pp.22-23)
I loved the quote you used. As Russ would say, "Luck tends to bet on the ones in motion." You have to act upon your crazy ideas which can be hard because a lot of time an entrepreneur sees the bigger picture but is overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done, they just don't act. All you have to do just simply start and then that's when you really get tested on whether you're right or not. To navigate through anything you have to have a basic understanding of the layout and how general things works which is what Bylund is telling us, but at the same time you always have to be careful not to get too wrapped up in details you can't control. Entrepreneurs other than being consistent and persistent have to be adaptable to the changes in the economy and the fluctuation in prices.
In closing Bylund is obviously a man with an understanding of the world and the greed, which is in it, but I feel like there are always two sides to everything and the main variable is what we choose to focus on. Are you going to dwell on stuff you can't control or are you going to try and change the things you can hopefully change things for the better.
