This was really interesting man! So it would seem that younger generations are earning significantly less than their parents generation corrected for inflation at the same life stage? I mean the whole earning more than your parents thing can't possibly continue for ever, I agree with you that the metric of upward mobility doesn't seem to be good enough to account for all that is the "american dream."
Thanks. Yes it is corrected for things like inflation - I agree it would seem illogical to assume that earnings would continue to be better for subsequent generations forever.
