What about the evolution of oxygen concentration in recent decades?Nice written, @mountainwashere ...
I mean, without having the time now to do some extensive research, I would have read some time ago that the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere has decreased significantly in recent decades.
Together with the increase in the carbon dioxide concentration, this could possibly be linked to the unregulated deforestation and unregulated use of forests?
In addition, it is now common knowledge that massive increases in afforestation and sustainable use of wood could mitigate the increase in carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere and thus the greenhouse effect.
Likewise, increased use of wood, for example in construction or furniture, could save carbon from the atmosphere for long periods.
So the solution could be: Plant more trees and make something pretty out of it... :-)
just my 2 cents
