Currently and according to the need to know the behavior of current societies, I believe that it should evolve towards a more economic approach, which allows us to provide solutions to certain economic aspects within a geographical environment that lacks the ideal conditions to develop an economic entity adapted to its physical and geographical conditions.
The field of study of economic geography is immense, so much so that it had to be restricted to the production of goods and services, so that the production of goods taken from the potential of resources of each part of the world, has led to divide this production in three sectors, one primary, the other secondary, and finally the tertiary, in which it can be subdivided according to a standard classification.
The advance of technology in what it has exploited natural resources refers, adding to this the advance and enlargement of industries in their ability to manage employees, makes the production of goods can be growing at an accelerated pace, especially if we analyze that the world population increasingly demands more resources. I have said everything in relation to the fact that it is not unreasonable to think that the three sectors of the production of goods and services have to evolve, and that perhaps they do not have to be three, but have to expand to one or two more sectors, that by expanding these production sectors the economic study corresponding to each geographical area can be made easier, and in this way focus the weakest points, with the intention that they are corrected and a functional economy can be developed for the benefit of the communities in need of the world.
The importance of being able to relate geography to the economy lies in the fact that it provides a solution, since the different economies of the world can be planned and managed in a more efficient way, and also to obtain policies of links between sister countries , where the exchange of goods is studied under this strategic geographic focus, which in many cases helps strategies in the export and import of resources.
There are a series of basic activities that man has done since ancient times and that until now are executed, these activities such as farming, fishing, livestock, among others, generate the raw material that can later be processed by industries.
Despite the fact that these activities have been perfected to this day, we can not deny the fact that our soils are becoming less fertile, that climate change and global warming are making our tasks of generating the raw material more difficult than later it will be industrialized, in this case I believe that the evolution that the primary sector should have is to incorporate all the environmental and ecological study to the different communities of the world, so that our resources have a sustainable character, and we can have raw material for a few more years.
In the case of the secondary sector, which in this case are the industries, from the industrial revolution to the present day it seems that we have not understood that these three sectors have to work cyclically without one altering the functionality of the other. The secondary or manufacturing sector has neglected what concerns the preservation of the environment, there are many toxic wastes that are generated in its activity, the amount of greenhouse gas affects the optimal conditions of the planet to generate and provide resources in a sustainable manner, so I can say that once the primary sector provides the goods that are going to be processed by the secondary sector, this in turn interrupts the natural activity of the primary sector, so I reflect saying that the secondary sector will have to evolve not to an increase in production, but to a change in the way of acting in the generation of the processing of the matter that the primary sector provides, adopting technology that goes in favor of our nature that is what it provides us with all the natural resources.
For the management and distribution of goods, or what we know as the tertiary sector, adjustments must be made, above all, of a political and administrative nature, since the way in which basic products are managed does not satisfy the demand of the peoples' resources anymore. people in need. Much is said about the political and economic models that dominate the world, be they capitalist, communist, what is important is that the needs of the most needy be solved, and that the models that simply do not lack morals and ethics, be adopted. final are the only resources necessary for a distribution of wealth equitably among the societies of the world.
