Where is Mankind going?

in #economy7 years ago

Our World is changing rapidly, in fact more rapidly then ever before.
I think everyone noticed by now that we need to step up and get out to deal with these changes. There's a hell of a lot issues we have with environment, work/life, technology, co2 emissions to name a few.

So what exactly will change for sure? Work! Yes right, every industry is undergoing changes and these come very fast. Remember when Uber got issues to run in Europe, US and other parts of the World? Exactly the point! New innovative Companies show up each day and pose a threat to different Job titles. Examples? Well take cab/taxi drivers as a start, these will be replaced a 100% once we can rely on self-driving cars.

And that's just one thing we have to deal with, Plastic Oceans, Fukushima is still leaking radiation, fossile fuels running out, people starving, strange weather, shortage on drinking water. Again, that's just a few.

Solutions? Yes we have a few, a few solutions for a lot of Problems.
The BIG BIG Questions is, how do we solve all of these? I assume education would be the best way to start.

So what will happen next, a prediction. As potential jobs shrink, with the rise of digital currencies we're heading into the next century of mankind. My current assumption is that current banks will surely fight to keep their power and control, in fact this is not a prediction because they're already doing it.

There are these richest people on earth, they think they are rich because they have that thing called money. But let's be honest, does Money make you rich? Can you eat it? Ofcourse you can, it's just not tasty and doesn't stop your hunger. These richest people on our planet are not willing to share either, if we'd share and go to equality a lot of Problems would disappear quickly.

With our resources shrinking and population growing we're heading to a very dark future of our species, there will be the day we're going to be stuck on this speedy ball of mud crossing space. I often read the term "save the planet" but that is bullshit, the planet doesn't need to be saved, we need to save ourselfs. We are to explore the Universe but this only works if we stand united. We don't have any duty in space if we can't act as a Unit.

We have to pick now which future we want, from what I see right now some people want a future of death, fear and destruction. That's not the future I want, not for myself, my friends and family and those that come after our generation. What would our kids think if they have to fight for survival each day?

Just some thoughts I could not keep to myself any longer. An open discussion on this topic and related is much welcome but stay kind and don't start blaming each other!

Thank you.
