I liked your analysis and I think I agree to a large degree. IMO though, the revolution in Venezuela is tenacious and the people will not allow the dismantling of the gains made by the revolution. This is a hard time for the country, as they face a desperate onslaught by the oligarchs both domestic and international, but because the revolution has not only made economic and legal gains, but also developed the political awareness of the people, they will pull through and recover by adapting to the onslaught and restoring the economy. The answer is complex, but it entails at the base level, political awareness and participation at a a grassroots level (local committees) - this leads to generating good leadership and solid building of national instruments to safeguard the peoples' gains. The struggle toward freedom and prosperity is a long one.
